Hello
Adam experienced a life changing and profound healing in Bellingen NSW of 2003, which triggered a career change and a transition into studying Natural Medicine. In 2005 Adam studied remedial massage, and ultimately entering into a dual Bachelor of Health Science – Acupuncture, Nutritional medicine and other modalities of natural medicine.

This Sydney born adventurer fell in love with Asian culture leading ultimately of his marriage to Asami. Two beautiful children followed, Jai and Lily who are entwined into the Steiner education system.
Adam spent many years living and working abroad and through out Australia to finally find his home in beautiful Sunshine Coast QLD, where he now resides and practices.
My Story
Adam's journey in natural medicine began with a deep commitment to healing and holistic care. While studying, he worked as a remedial therapist with the Brisbane Lions footy club and volunteered at a Brisbane homeless shelter, where he began practicing acupuncture alongside his work as a qualified massage therapist. In 2010, Adam graduated after completing an acupuncture internship in Nanning, China, and further honed his skills with an additional internship in Nanjing, where he specialized in women's health under the mentorship of a skilled Chinese doctor.
In 2011, Adam met his wife, Asami, who played a crucial role in his pursuit of Japanese acupuncture studies in Japan. After two years of practice in Brisbane, where he learned from a diverse group of acupuncture mentors, Adam moved to Rockhampton. There, he established "Asia House," a multimodality clinic offering acupuncture and massage services. This successful practice served the community for seven years before Adam decided to relocate to Coffs Harbour in 2020 to expand his work.
Partnering with an integrative doctor from Northside Health at The Jetty, Adam delved into the specialized art of Mikio Sankey’s style of acupuncture, aimed at supporting those dealing with anxiety and depression.
In 2024, Adam relocated to the Sunshine Coast, where he now practices 3-4 days a week in Yandina. Over the past 15 years, he has refined his practice into three distinct styles, each tailored to the nature of the disease and the sensitivities of his clients:
-
Japanese 5 Elements: Ideal for children, women’s health, fertility, sensitive clients, and emotional imbalances.
-
Tung Style (Taiwanese): Focused on addressing pain-related problems, both chronic and acute.
-
Mikio Sankey Acupuncture: A spiritual approach that incorporates sacred geometry, chakra balancing, and enhances awareness for both the practitioner and the client.
Adam is dedicated to continuing his practice on the Sunshine Coast for the next 20 years, further refining these healing arts and modalities to offer the best care possible to his clients.
